The creative urge has always been in me. Creating abstract imagery allows me to display my whimsical imagination, thoughts and feelings through bold and bright colors. I would describe my work as a stylized, impressionistic abstract.
I have no restrictions on subject matter; my art is created through Acrylic, watercolor pencil, occasionally oils and a variety of mixed media items. I found that by creating odd faces and mythological creatures in bright colors, whether the canvas is huge or small, often draws the attention I seek to my work. I create art because it is calming and amuses me.
